Welcome to Sao Paulo.. Yeah right
Well after going through border control and getting forms filled in and signed ( I now have a stamp in my passport!) I made my way to baggage. The majority of people were locals so they whizzed through where there were quite a lot of foreigners coming in so took a bit longer for us. And I waited.. and waited...and waited..and waited just once more and was then told no more finitio. After a fair few swear words and lots of But..but..and then whining wheres my bag? I then had to go to baggage claim where there were 3 other people. The lady infront of me was very sympathetic even though I didnt have a fatting clue what she was saying but she kept pointing to my trolley and picking up her bag and putting her hands in the air and then came and rubbed my back and gave me a sad look so I'm guessing it was a case of "Well at least we got one but you none poor you" and i was very good and din't do tears or anything too much in shock I think.
So after describing bag ( BIG rucksack red and black Purple bow on it!!) the man told me at least the places I go to are very beautiful..YEAH RIGHT CUZ THAT REALLY HELPS I didnt shout at him but I could have quite happily stamped on his foot for that ( didnt quite warrent a full blown kickbox attack because it wasnt his actual fault!)
At this point I'm half glad I've got camera and electrical stuff with me ( and the ABWAK publications!!) but at the same time panicking thinking about leaving the extra 2 pairs of socks I'd put in that bag on my bed because i would have more than enough socks. How wrong was I?
I then spent the next 8 hours dossing round Sao Paulo airport it's the most boring airport ever. You can see shops but cant get to them and the shops you have got aren't much use. Can I come home now??
