Clunk Click & testing 1,2
Well after a good nights sleep it was a slow and cautious approach to getting out of bed to determine what hurt and ached. It didnt start off too badly. My hips ached more than my knees so after hobbling to the breakfast table and getting coffee into the system I decided it wasnt as bad as I thought. The parrots were making a right old racket so I decided to see what all the noise was about. With every step my hips clicked and cluncked when they do that it worries most people with the loudness and judging by Veros face she was worried.. I however felt a lot better for it. Having clicked my way outside it appeared that overnight we had become a flight training area for all the baby parrots. There were about 40 in the area parent birds feeding the young and then encouraging them to fly. I watched bemused for about 20 minutes as youngsters flapped their wings and attempted flying. Im pleased to report there were no maydays or crash landings and they all went off to the next place.
Afterwards we started packing to move to the new cabin. Once we had the key we started moving everything and after being given instructions on hot water tv keys and cookers the gang headed off to Jujuy. Once we had settled in it was too late to start Toucan watching as the birds would be individually foraging and as yet we hadnt established a routing for Benjamins Birds. We set off in the afternoon and caught just one bird in 2 hours dis appearing beyond our vision. Knowing the toucans had been checking the ripeness of the advacado tree we headed there. Roughly and hour and half later Benjamin arrived to say he had 6 in the garden and was convinced 2 adults and 4 youngsters. After checking and of course them not being there we gave up for the day.
