Hi ho Hi ho its off to Hooii Hooiii we go
Saturday 16th December
After a lie in and breakfast I risked going back into Buenos and raiding the cash point again got a few postcards and headed back to the hotel. I then re packed rucksack and transferred things from old bag to new bag and find homes for new things. I kept the top and trousers but had to ditch the shoes as no space. I then headed to reception to sort out checking out. The guy behind there reminded me of a non orange Dale Winton minced about a lot and fretted lots. So with not having to pay anything ( id forgot it was all paid for with flights) and waitedto be collected and taken to the airport. My agent met me got me checked in and said bye have a nice xmas see you in January etc ( Bag was 17kg!!)
So off to the gate, Buenos airport again has some really nice things but I was good and didnt spend anything. It was a busy flight and with no nuns or priests!!. There was a slighly mad old dear called Maggie who was very excited about the whole thing so I presume she hadnt flown much, she was good entertainment More so for those who spoke spanish !
The flight again left me a bit woo waayy but not as bad as last time. Bag made it again and Vero, Silvyia and Carlos all met me. Silvyia had picked me out and had already put herself in charge of hand luggage etc. We then put everything into the landrover and started the 2.5 hour journey to Villamonte.
We went up a small road that takes you up into the mountains and at some points it looked very much like Scotland or Wales. I saw my first 4 wild Andean Condors, Cara Caras, Alder parrots whilst on the trip and golden collared macaws.
