Ay ay ay ay yooiiyyy!
Just as I thought I had all of my days and dates worked out its wrong. I thought and was going to put Sunday 10th December but its not its the 11th so somewhere in the time space continum Ive lost a whole 24 hours to quote Rosa one of the housekeepers Ay ay ay ay yooiiiyy thats her favourite saying for when the rangers are handling Rattlesnakes or just at bad things!!
So anyway whatever day or date we are on today was going to be a bit of an office day. Except after walking to camp they had no electricity. It doesn't affect me up camp because I haven't got electricity anyway. Carlos wants to change that though and have a small solar panel up there just enough to power 4 lightbulbs and perhaps a microscope or laptop. They have been looking into this and are in the middle of filling out half a rainforest of forms to fill in for sponsership but with no guarentee they will get it in the end. In our money it works out at about 150 pound which is about 230 $ which is x that by 3.5 into Argentinan pesos and that doesnt include labour costs and getting it here over here it works out highly expensive.
After about an hour we had electricity and I was able to reconfirm flights and answer some emails. Well at least I thought i had it appears some emails aren't getting through to people so I may have to resend them. Not much to report today all the beasties have left me alone, no tocos. So I have made a list of supplies to buy at Buenos Aires theres a camping shop there according to Lonely Planet book so hopefully I will be able to restock on things. A couple of things didnt make Rucksacks adventure and Ive been reccomended some good field guides etc so Im quite looking forward to going to Buenos. This is for a few reasons a) its the start of the next chapter of journey b) Ive been told such fab things about it plus I will hopefully have time to do some of the tourist stuff like go find the balcony evita energized crowds from in the 40's and find the big ben lookey likey. I cant believe Ive been here 2 weeks already in some ways it seems much longer and in others no time at all. Oh well tommorrows another day!!
